I just bought a used 2017 Expy with the Heavy Duty Tow Package.
It has the 275/55R20 113T Hankook Dynapro ATM tires. (Max 51 psi).
The tire placard on the B-pillar indicates 35 psi all around.
Do you experts recommend adding any psi when towing?
Thanks for the reply Randy. I run 38 front and rear when towing with my Navigator, but I haven't had this husky of a tire before. When you said 40psi, is that for both front and rear?
My 15' EL 4x4 put 28k miles on the original Goodyears at 35psi and they were damn near bald on the inner and outer edges of all 4 tires (2/32nds), but the middle of the tires were 8/32nds. Only 2 things give you that wear, under inflated or overloaded. It never towed on those tires. I put a new set of Michelin Defenders load range E (80psi max) on it and have run them at 50psi for 37k miles and they are flat and even. I think ALL car manufacturers list too low of pressure on the door jams for even tire wear. Yes they'll handle good but I'm tired of replacing tires way sooner than I have to and running all my vehicles 5-10psi higher than the placard has given me the even tire wear I expect from a properly aligned vehicle.

Yes 40psi front and rear in my wife's Explorer. In my truck I run 50psi unloaded.
