F650..too much?
I got my F350 last August and I love the thing. Has had a few more problems thab my Dakota, but also has 3x the miles and alot more power options. To be expected.
I love the size of this thing being a long bed and crew cab. Now..is possibly going to f650 an overkill?
Would be my only vehicle and DD. Gas mileage is not a concern of mine. Id rather fill up more than drive an electric car. I dont do drive thrus with my current truck due to tow mirrors..so non issue there.
But damnit..they are beautiful monsters.

Are you hauling anything? Are you pulling a large trailer?
If the answer is "no" to either of those questions. I'd say no. A 650 as daily driver rings of douchbaggery. Also, parking that thing and wheeling through town becomes tedious.
The F650 is a great tool if you're working. But it is a poor car.

If you guys are curious about the the V10 versus the 6.7 powerstroke..... the company I work for has 2 F650 with the Powerstroke and one f650 with the Triton V10 the Triton V10 average is 6.8 to 7.5 miles per gallon and the power strokes average 8.6 - 10 so in terms of fuel economy in an F650 the power stroke has it hands down also in the F650 the Triton will out run the diesels on the launch but after about three-quarters of the way through 2nd gear it becomes a dog....

"Didnt know f650s were known for hauling.............."
What, pray tell, did you think they were made for?
Your money, your time. Buying an F650 for a DD is an expensive choice.
Be sure to get one with air ride suspension, but be prepared for a rough ride empty even with air.

With that amount of ignorance, a rough ride, poor fuel economy 10 MPG if you're lucky, and something clumsy in a city setting have at it.
