according to COTUS i have a vin # 2 days after placing the order i was at the dealer wednesday morning

I've don't think they are normally assigned that fast. If memory serves me it was a couple of weeks before I had a VIN number. They often are slow purposely as often people change their minds about things after they leave the dealership, so it leaves a little time for changes.

We placed our order on Monday, Ford pulled it on Tuesday, and I had a VIN on COTUS on Thursday... gotta love it!
