Man This Truck Is Tall!
Got the new 17 KR home and was stressing that it may or may not fit under my carport. It fit, but not by much. I had no idea that the new 17's sat so tall. Mine has the FX4 package and sits on 20" wheels so maybe that doesn't help but coming from a 1968 F-100 this is a major change.
Had to remove the antenna and go with a Stubby, reception is great even under my carport. BTW, this is a white platinum tri coat. Hard to tell in under the light conditions.

Nice truck! Most of these trucks have a noticeable rake. Mine is 4" higher in the rear. There are spacer blacks available to lower it, I just have to check out the details. Mine has 3" spacers from the factory. It would be nice if I could merely remove them and set the spring on the axle. Anyway, this gives you something to think about.

Nice truck, Wes! Congrats! And,,, it defies gravity too!
My tall issues were more with the tall bed sides and clearance when towing my 5er. I have a Reese 25K Elite hitch that had to go up to the top hole (highest) in order to get 6+" of bedrail clearance. Def some tall sides in our '17 boxes!

Might I suggest you look into the weigh-safe hitch. They are a particularly nice hitch with many different drops; I went with a 6, but believe an 8 is best after seeing my car hauler hooked up just slightly nose high. There is a thread on here with details for getting one with a 10% discount.

I like the color/combo; I have the same.

My truck's antenna was dragging on the garage door frame and the door as well; I've got about 2" of clearance from the cab of the truck. I clipped the antenna to be about 1" above the tallest point of the truck, so that if I do drive into a parking garage or somewhere with low clearance, it will act as a tell-tale warning. Not foolproof, but it helps to judge height in tight spots.
