Adding OEM Navigation
Looking at a 2011 F-350 King Ranch. It has the small backup camera in the rear view mirror. I looked on E-bay and found several OEM Navigation units. I assume the rear view camera can be diverted from the mirror to the nav unit. Any one out there done this?

Yes, it can be diverted to the radio. I had a 2011 with the cam in the mirror. I upgraded the radio from non-nav to Ford nav unit. I acquired a cable that ran from the passenger kick panel area to the back of the radio. This put the back up cam in both then mirror and the radio.
Google 4DTech. They can supply you the cable for stock Ford radio.

You need to acquire the "brick" nav radio for the 2011-2012 trucks. There are kits on eBay to add nav that include the right hand steering wheel switch, a cable for sync and the gps/sirius satellite antenna. Not sure what current prices are,, but I paid like 1700 in 2012. Go to 4DTech and research for your truck.
