Tail Light Out Need Help Please

Drivers side tail light is out, but only the brake light.

The blinker function works as well as running lights/ when the lights are on it is lit. It just doesnt light when the brakes are applied.

All other lights function properly around the whole truck.

Any help is appreciated. My brain inverts itself when I see a wiring diagram.

You left out the year which is quite helpful so I randomly picked the diagram for '76.

If the light also doesn't work with the hazards on, it's the turn signal switch.

Sounds like a bad ground at the driver's side tail lamp assembly.

Confirmed its the turn signal switch... If i manually centered the switch with the braked pedal depressed the light came on steady.
