Hey All,
So i just changed the oil in my 08 superduty with valvoline 80-90 with ls.Now im reading that it takes synthetic which i did not buy
....will i need to rip the cover off and refill it with the correct.I dont care about fuel economy just reliability.

You will probably need to replace the fluid as its suppose to have 75/140 synthetic in it and not 80/90..

do it correctly..
as above said.
gears are very costly.
if you are going to work on your own stuff.. LEARN to get the correct information, then purchase the correct stuff. and do the Job ONCE.
CHEAPER that way.
