The paint could use a buff and a wax, but it looks it it'd shine right up really nice. When I sold my '84, we paid about $300 to have it professionally cleaned and polished inside and out, and it looked like a new truck when they got done. We sold it for about $4700 and that money was well spent. Looks can go a long, long way.
Clean up the tires and rims and get the tires shiny black. Dull tires and wheels make the whole thing look dull and tired.
Otherwise, as long as there are no mechanical issues, I don't see any reason whey you couldn't start asking at what you already paid for it. $5500 isn't exactly a steal, so I don't think you can go a lot above it, unless you live in a rust belt and have an unrusted Bronco. Look around on craigslist and see what compares in your area.
