We've had our 235-85-16's for over 3 1/2 yrs now, still look like the day I installed them. These tires are absolutely the best addition an owner of a med. to large size 5th wheel could do.

It has all of its lug nuts now, picture was just after I upgraded from 6 lug hubs to all new 8 lug gear but forgot to order the additional 8 nuts to finish the job.

The "missing" nuts are actually there, they are just not the pretty ones like the rest, but now they are all pretty.

3 1/2 years on our Carlisle's with no problem. Sometimes I think people that have the problems don't take care of their tires. Not all but a certain percentage. The original tires went 7 years with no problems.

The bigger the trailer the more prone to problems. The China bombs are really not up to the task of heavy long haul trailering.

I've never had mine weighed but I'm guesstimating between 13 and 14k. Mfg. states 11k dry. I've also added a 5.5 onan genset in the front bay. The original tires were from Taiwan and made it 7 years with 3 trips annually through the Eastern Sierras plus local camping trips. When not on the road I keep them covered and properly aired up. How many people do you think let their tires sit in the sun for months on end and then when they want to use the trailer add the 20 lbs. of air they need from sitting and not being checked for months because they weren't using the trailer.

What pressure are you guys running? I'm set to 100, trailer weighs loaded about 13500. Also, any idea on torque? I'm at 150ftlbs on aluminum wheels. TIA

My trailer tires are rated for 80 psi and that's where I run them. 65 on truck front tires and 80 on rear per mnf. recommendations.
