Is there a replacement part for the center piece that the license plate bracket bolts to, for trucks that possibly don't have a front plate? Or are they all the same?
I ordered the zroadz light - we'll see how it fits w/ the adaptive cruise box
HPD doesnt give you a hard time for no front plate? I actually got a ticket for it on top of a speeding ticket during one of there speed trap sessions near downtown.

I've gotten a few warnings (over 25+ yrs) - been lucky i guess.
i got stopped for 90 in a 65 (wifes miata, w/ 5% tint), popped me w/ laser...let me slide on the speeding and wrote me for the lack of a front tag (must have blow off and didnt notice).....
i went back to the town/county and showed them a picture where i resolved the problem and paid a $10 court fee.
got stopped in our motor coach - no front tag, towing our jeep (w/out a front tag)...again the front tag (on the coach) must have blown off....wrote me a warning....never noticed the jeep didn't have a front tag on it while we were chatting on the side of the road...
I installed the ZroadZ 12 inch light bar today (ordered Tuesday)...the light is nice (I wired it to up-fitter #2).
because I have the proximity cruise I had to trim the side of the proximity cover (you can't even tell where I trimmed it) - so the that zroadz light / heat sink didn't bump it.
yeah very easy....the ZroadZ wiring harness (switch and relay are nice / included) but you don't need them...just run the wire from the lights, to a ground and connect the (red) hot to an up-fitter....
you DONT need to use the ZroadZ fuse, relay or switch (since the up-fitters have all that incorporated into the wiring/box).
I kept the zroadz inline fuse and grounded to an existing factory ground (close to the up-fitter stub wires/fuse box) on the drivers side fender.
you'll do best to remove the grill, but its not completely necessary....and you'll want to remove the proximity cruise/radar cover (makes mounting the light bar easier)...and you'll have to trim the radar cover a little.
initially the BEAM pattern of the light bar seems kinda narrow (but I went for a short cruise on a dark / narrow road w/ all the other lights off) and realized there was more side light projected than I thought.
I think it looks MUCH nicer than the black hole (w/out a front tag)....over all I'm pleased.
