Getting a Good Balance

I had a set of BFG 295/75R16's installed on my truck yesterday and I've got a vibration right at 70 mph. I took it back to the shop that installed them, the tech test drove it, agreed with me that it was coming from the rear, so they re-balanced both rears. The tech said they were barely off balance, so we hopped in the truck and took it for a drive...but the vibes are still there!! He said they'd check the fronts for balance, switch the tires front to rear, and rotate the tires around the rims (moving tire on rim, and also switching which rim the tires were originally monuted to.) I'm still waiting for the shop to call me back with the verdict, but I've got a feeling they're not going to be able to balance them. I'm hoping it's just an out-of-round tire...but if it's not...what else can I do to get these suckers balanced??

Munkey, the BFG's will have a small paint spot on the sidewall. It'll probably be white or yellow, and will look like it's been sprayed on. Tell the tire tech to match the paint spot with the tire stem when mounting the tires. Then rebalance them.

This will align the high/low part of the wheel with the low/high part of the tire. This makes for a more "rounded" tire and wheel assembly.
