I used plasti dip, and I like the results

Good idea, I wish I would have thought of that before I spray painted mine, lol. It still turned out OK, it was ugly as hammered dog crap before I painted it.

I found a good use for the larger 4x4 air dam, it is a good bug catcher, Just took a trip, I think it killed 90% of the bugs on the road. lol

Does anyone have a close-up picture of the bare edge (with no valance)? I was wondering if something like the product in the attached link could work as an alternative to the 2WD version or just leaving it off:
Amazon Amazon

That vinyl strip you posted looks like a bad idea to me, it would puddle water and grime along with road salt and begin a nasty rust war. Paint the flange part black and after time you wont notice it.

Finally got a chance to take off that massive valance. I think I removed about 100 pounds from the front end ( OK maybe 10 pounds ). My new mini chrome "Valance" should disappear once I Line-X the bumper.

Bye Bye

Installed mine today. Started with blue sky and ended up finishing install in a thunderstorm. Georgia weather at its finest.

Easy to do and I did it in less than an hour with rain pouring down on me. LoL.

Looks a lot better. No pics, but it looks the same as the other posters.

It matches very well. Well enough no one would ever see a difference unless they truly knew what they where looking at. I would say its def worth the upgrade. I got lucky and found mine from a guy locally that was building his truck for SEMA and was just going to trash the grille. He sold it to me for basically pennies.
