Probably a stupid question and a thread asking this probably already has been made that I can't find but currently I have a 2011 F350 with a 6.7 powerstroke, it's completely stock right now but I'm thinking about getting a cold air intake soon because I can get a pretty good deal on a used one close by, now my question is if I install it can I get away with not having a custom tune or will that just throw codes and not run right?

Depends on the intake. If you are not tuned and deleted, probably isn't worth the time to put one on. The stock unit filters well and flows more than what a stock truck needs. If you are tuned, ask your tuner if the specific tuning and intake will work well. Some don't and need revisions made.
