Help! Receiver hitch install

Hey guys, I'm replacing mu Putnam XDR hitch and while doing the install of my Curt, an existing hole overlaps by about 1/8 inch. Is it ok to elongate the hole in the frame? I'd rather do that than make that much bigger a hole.

thanks in asdvance.

If you are talking about the hole aft of the frame rivet, yes you can elongate it. The hole forward of the rivet looks like it may be too big when you are done.

If not supplied I would use Trunion washers or a piece of angle on the top side of the frame that also ties into the rear most bumper bolt

It came with all the attaching hardware. That was judt me eyeballing it to see if the pre-existing holes lined up decently. I used a die grinder and made an oval slot
