Destination feature not working

The destination feature on my 2011 has stopped working. I input all the information as to where I want to go and then press the icon to calculate the route and a window pops up saying that the calculation of the route failed. It does not say why it failed, just that it failed. I have tried several different destinations all with the same result. Any ideas????

Try a master reset - I've never done it myself.

You may need a system update on your GPS.

Thanks for the reply!! Don't know why or how but the damn thing started working about 300 miles down the road!! Just hope it stays working at least for the next 2700 miles.

The Nav in my Edge does this occasionally. It even displays the route momentarily before the map vanishes and I get the "route failed" message. It seems to happen more often when my "home" is the destination, but I can't say that for sure. Like you, a few miles down the road if I try it again it'll start working correctly.
