code po133 bogs,gags a bit
hello all...
p0133...got this code up : 02 sensor ckt slow response bank 1 sensor
p1131 as well...manufacture control fuel air metering...which i think is sensor as well....
truck runs...everyday 70 mph but at times when i slow down to 40 and then speed up "WITHOUT" heavy foot, it bogs a bit...chokes,then clears up and goes. its about 90% 60 or above mph to work 18 miles....i feel it. it bogs chokes then lets go.
so......change bank 1 sensor one ABOVE cat....? anyone do this? looks hard to reach...lQQking at it now,lol.

How old or how many miles are on the O2 sensors now ? A worn out O2 sensor will throw both those codes. The front sensors are a bitch. If you're replacing them with new ones you can just cut the old ones wires to make it a little easier to get out.

ive never changed them...truck got 181000..have truck 7-8 yrs. ive done exhust manifold that side which took code away for REAR sensor and changed all the plugs which 3 and 4 plug wires were bad on that side. now this on same side.....
i saw the sensor,real chitty spot. HOPE THIS IS ISSUE
did your truck act like mine....choke a bit,gag and then let go. doesnt do it ALL the time thou

...done deal. changed sensor. advanced auto $53 motorcraft but waited a day.
was easy to take off old one,i was lucky. was going to get charged $40 to put on lift but i got it so....
this sensor does ALOT to motor,huge affect....felt awfull. idle feels better then usual i can say that.
i burned less gas with BAD SENSOR thou...lol....
everything on that side of my motor been kinda done......
