Hi! This is the orifice tube from my AC, 1991 F150 XLT Lariat. I am currently replacing every single part in the AC, except the pump. After seeing this tube today though I wanted your guys' advice, is my pump ****ed? My clutch engages perfectly when I switch it on manually, and it doesn't make horrible noises.
Edit: yes i destroyed it getting it out, it was hot and pain in the *** and I was replacing it all anyway so... hulk smash.
if your going through all the trouble of doing "all of the system" why skimp now....do the pump and be done with it. it would be really crummy if the pump puked and made that nice new system contaminated.
