I'm sure this has come up before, but my search didn't really come up with the results I was hoping for. Has anybody made a sticky for the install, or done a step by step documentation of job? I thought I had subscribed to a couple of threads that talked about the process, but now I can't find them either. I have OEM Ford gaskets, so hopefully they will fit well. I think I may also be missing some of the clips (the ones that are screwed in key places for extra holding power). Shouldn't there be 2 clips here by the door handle?
It also looks extremely hard to get a screwdriver in at the fender side of the door to screw the clips in.
I suppose that when I get into it, I will figure it out from trial and error. I bought this truck already disassembled, so it makes it a bit harder to put back together.
Duh! I figured out that the clips stay put and you just tuck in the gasket. Still seems to be a tight area to get in there, but much more doable. I also was able to find the missing clips as well, but I really had to dig through boxes to come up with them. Funny thing is, I put gaskets on my old slick over 30 years ago, but I have little memory of the details. Well, come to think of it, I have less memory of everything as the years go by!
I just replaced the door seals on my 66. The only place I had to worry about clips was on the bottom of the door. I just used the recomended 3M Weatherstrip adhesive and they went in like a dream. I used clothespins to hold the rubbers to the door to trim them as needed, then pulled the pins off, added the glue, allowed for it to set up, put the rubbers into place and secured it again with the clothespins. Hope it helps. Was a real pain in the *** to get them on the front of the door without taking the door off. Best of luck.
It's much easier to install the seals correctly if you remove the doors from the truck.
Sure, but that's not likely to happen. I'd have to get help with the doors, and they are very tedious to adjust properly.

So you didn't have clips similar to theses pictures?
