So to keep a long story short, my truck has been in the shop 3 times for the exact same water leak. The first two times (went to two different dealerships) both said it was the seal around the windshield leaking. So the first time they kinda did a patch job said it was fixed. It wasn't so took it to another dealership and they had the windshield and the seal replaced. Drove it for a month and just had recent rain storms and it leaked again in the exact same spot. It was dripping out of the driver side "oh crap" handle.
Now its back in the dealership and they called Fords hot line and they had the dealership to do a pressurize cab test to see where it's leaking from. Apparently the body seam on the upper corner of the driver side is to high and is blocking the silicone that holds the windshield in place from getting down into the corner to make a complete seal. Has anyone else had this same problem? If so how did they fix it?
Lots of water leaks on these trucks from multiple points, windshield, missing cowl plugs, panoramic roof, unconnected roof drains, drain lines popping off, rear port hole window, 3rd brake light, windows, push buttons door latches, you name it!
I can't believe it's just a new build design, has to be aluminum, and the learning curve, too!
And I'm not complaining like all those snowflakes in that one stupid *** thread. I know this is the best super duty ever made and I love the truck. I was asking if anyone else had issues with body seams and causing it to leak water.
I have a similar issue and just had the truck at the body shop yesterday to locate the point of entry for the leak (water entering on the passenger side, running along the A pillar and collecting in the door sill and pools in the passenger floor board).
It's definitely coming through the top corner of the windshield and your experience with the high body seam makes sense. I'm waiting for the dealer and Ford to confer on a fix so will pass your info along. Will repost once they have a solution and will watch for your experience on the fix. Thanks for posting!
I have the same issue. My F250 Platinum is 3 weeks old. I hear sloshing water when driving and have water under the front passengers mat. The dealer thinks the rear window is leaking and I have an appointment Tuesday with their leak specialist.

Strokin-A-2010 - Is there a way to visually inspect for this defect without any disassembly. I would like to check mine when it arrives.
I also had a leak on the passenger front floor, luckily I found it very soon after getting the truck while I had some interior out to install stereo components. In my truck the water was pooling the bottom of the post behind the BCM, I removed the BCM and inner foam seal to water test and this is what I found. I then pulled the R/F inner fender well and PCM under the hood, this is when I discovered a plastic cap just under the antenna mount area that can only be seen through the hole the PCM sits in. This is what was leaking in my truck.
I went to dealer A who wanted to remove the dash and other things to which I said no thanks and promptly picked up the truck. I went to dealer B who I told and showed what I found, I dropped it off for one day and it was fixed by their water leak person.

I don't believe so, I think they have to remove the windshield and the old silicone first to see it, the service manager is supposed to take pics for me. I'll post them when I receive them.
