Welcome to FTE!

What exactly do you need from the heater box - the whole box? And what parts will you make? Can you make things like shift boots? I ask because the rubber dohickeys that fit on the cowl under the fenders are either not available or very expensive, but they are shaped like shift boots.

Oh, and speaking of Mopars, I have a '69 Bee awaiting its restoration.

... major thanks to FuzzFace the 2nd for steering me to Jim Fillmore... not only was he great to work with... but the quality of the finished product is stellar...

For those keeping track... this seal is E5TZ not E7TZ.

Highly recommend Mr. Fillmore!

Looks perfect! If that's for a factory A/C unit I need one. And, I may have a box for him once he responds.

Yes... factory. The material is about 45 Duro... not too hard... not too soft... seals over the firewall perfectly.

Sorry for the delay. Have been working my old schedule till 2AM getting ready for our biggest show, Chryslers of Carlisle in Carlisle, PA in a couple weeks.

I'm definitely interested in purchasing a whole box both AC and Non AC. I'd rather not borrow anything cause I've found I get phone calls every 3 days asking if it's done yet There are 4 pick and pulls here in the Detroit area. I just checked their inventory list and one has (3) 80-86 Ford trucks. I may go take a look this weekend.

PS I mostly make parts from flat materials. I can have parts made but it's relatively expensive. A small rubber item takes about 3 months and $1500 to $5000 in tooling then a minimum purchase of 1000pcs. But I'm always looking for needed parts that aren't being made and compliment my body gasket and heater box product line.

Rbond, Good to hear DMT was able to help you and I know once Jim Fillmore can get his hands on boxes he will make what ever he can.

Jim Fillmore, Sorry if I miss spoke before on the waiting but I am sure now that you are "full time" on the gasket making that has been fixed.

BTW I used 1 of your kits to rebuild my 1970 AMC Javelin heater box, first rate kit! That is where I know DMT from, an AMC forum I am also on.

Thank you Jim Fillmore

I finally was able to round up the parts to reverse engineer, laser cut and test fit the gaskets for the 80-86 truck / Bronco AC heater boxes.

I have that gasket set in hand and can attest to just how nice they are. Looking forward to installing them with the hvac components. Thanks a lot James!
