Question Members in North Dakota?

Any one in North Dakota? I will be moving from Houston to North Dakota in a few weeks. Looking to see if there are some "enthusiasts" up that way.

My family is from Williston, moved to AK in '72. I used to go back to visit family, but since most have passed the last time I was back was in 2011. In 2013 we shipped the car ('72 Oldsmobile) we kept back there to AK and had no reason to go back.

Not many members from the great state of ND as far as Ex's are concerned. But I think a few from the super duty section.

Williston must have been a really small town back in '72.

I have always wanted to live in AK. I guess you like it out there enough to stay

Hell, it was a small town in the 1990s when I started going back there. Both my grandparents were born and raised there (1937 & 1940) it's been a shock to see what it changed to with the oil boom. But luckily they own mineral rights and have wells going so the checks every month are nice

I'm born and raised Alaskan so this is home, could not imagine living anywhere else on earth. My grandparents loved it enough to stay so it must be alright.

I hate living in Houston as much as the next guy, but ND? In Houston, you're miserable for 9 months out of the year from heat, now you can be miserable in the cold.

Oh, and you'll never get good Mexican food up there.

In many sparsely populated areas of our great Country, especially where winter brings lots of snow, you don't "go out" much, thus not many places can stay in business "to go to".

I'm here in ND.. not a lot of active forum members from ND. But I think it's a great place to live. Have to be ready for anything weather wise. Temps can vary vastly in one day lol. I for one like the snow.. but it is nice to get out n soak up the sun in the summer too as konf as it's not really humid out. I don't have a Excursion anymore but have other Ford products. I'm in the Capital city area.

I was looking at the temps right now. Looks like the highs are lower than the lows here in Houston. I might be wearing a light jacket in the evenings

I am looking into living in an travel trailer so on my days off can travel around easily. Just started doing some research and trying to figure out what I need to do to the Excursion to get it tow ready and figure out if there is such as thing as a "4 Season" RV.

I've even put a sweat shirt on in the evenings camping recently. Go from a pair of shorts n no shirt during the day to jeans n a sweater. Lol.

There is a 4 seasons but they will still need work to make them winter worthy up here!!
