P0174

Well i am at my witt's end here i have been getting a P0171 and a P0174 code lean bank 1 and 2 censer 2 i have replaced all 4 censers the 171 is gone but i keep getting the P0174 and it only comes on when i am on the highway after driving around 10 miles or so i got a freez frame of the data when it happen but i have no idea what i am looking at any help would be great and thanks in addvance

How are you doing power wise? Does it feel underpowered? Do you feel it vibrate from a misfire? Could be a weak fuel pump, clogged/restricted fuel filter or clogged fuel injectors.

A set code does not identify an exact problem, it only points you in the general direction of the problem.

You need the proper year FORD SERVICE MANUAL (and referring TSB's) which will give you the proper diagnostic charts/sequences to follow.

While the manual is not cheap, it is cheaper than randomly throwing expensive parts at it.

Not yelling, don't think I know it all but there is no other logical way unless you know a certified tech that has years of experience and works for beer.

Which engine does your Explorer have, and is it a 1997 model year like your username would imply?

sorry Shorod it is a 2002 explorer vin code "E" 4.0l EB no the power is still there it seems to run fine but it needs to be fixed before the inspection runs out but as for the freeze frame what am i looking at when what do i need to see ? thanks for the help

Well i just replaced the PCV it was not working and blocked so we shall see how it go's will update after test drive but still don't know what i am looking at for the freeze frame data what are the peramiter for what i am looking at and where might i find them thanks again
