I just picked up a cherry 2003 F-250 7.3L diesel SD Lariat. But when I start the rig the trip computer doesn't work. The obvious first place to look is whether or not it's getting any juice.
I cannot find the fuse number/location for the trip computer in the owners manual. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Okay. I found the fuse (It's No. 27 on the '03 7.3L diesel fuse panel). As it turns out the fuse was good! (No easy fix, obviously.) Any one around these parts got a place to point me to to get the thing working? The thing is dead as a door nail at this point.

check the fuse slot for continuity - maybe one of the wires is shorted or broken. Maybe the trip odometer unit itself is shot (if that's possible)
