BFG KO2's here as well. In my opinion...best all around tire for anything but mud. I ran 2 sets on the 79 i had and now have a set on my F-350. ZERO complaints.

Are they totally capable for off road? Not mudding but any situation you'd need to go off road for a bit.

The BFG KO2 are a really good highway tire with some snow/off road ability. They will get you down a muddy dirt road or on some sand but don't expect to get through any thing resembling peanut butter, because they will cake up and you'll have slicks in no time.

I was between the KO2 and Duratracs for my powerstroke. I ended up going with the Duratracs because I had experience with them in ND and never slipped a bit in the ice or snow. They are basically the same price and I preferred the more aggressive look of the duratracs.

Before I got the duratracs, I had Dick Cepek Mud Country I really enjoyed but didn't have the tread life I am needing nowadays. They're pretty quiet and look really aggressive.

I've been running BFG A/T TAs for as long as I've had the dentsides. With the 16.5" rim, there's not many choices

When I bought the yellow truck, it had factory steels and worn out tires. I was kind of tired of the A/T TAs, and wanted a highway tread. So I bought some 17s and Falkens. I like them

255/85r16 10 ply 16" dick cepeck extreme country, quiet, smooth, aggressive, 10 ply, deep lugs, good stability with trailers, and good mud, snow, ice, gravel, overall good tire, I recommend, I am not a fan of bfg stuff, I don't like getting stuck!!

Why not just get 16" rims? If your worried about not havi many options in tires

That is something I'm not a fan of, mud and snow cakes on to the tread pattern of BFGs really fast

My 16.5 slotted mags barely clear the calipers, so i figured better to go bigger than smaller
