Back in the Saddle Again

Thanks to those that walked me through the improvements made during the "box off" portion of this project. Fuel tanks, sending units, lines, reservoir switch unit, shocks, sway bar and leaf spring bushings and a 2 inch drop shackle. I'm sure I am forgetting something else, but the advice was appreciated.

Tonight I should finish bolting it down and hooking up the filler necks and light harness. You would have laughed if I could have attached a time lapsed video of me trying to line up, lower evenly and dropping box bolts in! I'm getting frustrated just talking about it. Just kidding, it's all part of it but it did take me forever.

Yes a drop shackle, remember the "reaming" I got when I suggested other more extreme methods of lowering? I went with least severe, actually barely noticeable leveling device. I dislike the rear end elevated look, and even with the mere 2 in drop it is still higher by an inch. Yes I will have a new alignment done when I put new tires on it, and it is not a 4x4 so that is not a factor. Great for guys that love their truck jacked up, bless those that do! This truck will never see the back roads, tow or haul heavy loads. It's a summer time daily driver, that I want to get in and out of easily.
Thanks for the compliment and input on this and future improvements, it was mostly your distain for all lowering options that held me to just the 2 in drop.
