No $ in Sync 3!!!

No $ in Sync 3!!!
Funny but strange... Went to hook up Sync 3 to my wifi hotspot for updates. My wifi password has a "$" symbol in it..... guess what?! The Sync 3 system doesn't contain a $ symbol. Called Ford Sync folks and after some minutes checking they advised that while Sync 3 has upside down exclamation and upside down question mark symbols among various others, it doesn't have a $ symbol. Both the tech I talked to and I found this rather strange...
You'd think with all the money they are making, a $ symbol would make the list. Guess I have to change my password on my wifi...

Hells bells! Now I'll have to see if I can find that specific screen! Thought I had looked at them all.....

Looking at the image, you'll see the "!@#" button has its second light on (blue), which likely means you have to tap it twice to get to that keyboard.

Did you hit the !@# once or twice? The guy above said he tapped it 2 times. Maybe change your keyboard colour from black to white just to see if you have the 2 dashed lines as above. A blue and a black.

Hmmmm... Maybe there was a Sync update you didn't receive. I heard there is a 2.2 version out or something like that.
