I have been sleeping in my recliner for 4 years to help keep my legs elevated to help reduce swelling. Ones my foot is healed up from my surgery and I am back wearing a regular shoe on that foot, I plan on trying to sleep in a bed again. We need to replace our mattress and when we do that, we plan on getting an adjustable base so I can raise my legs up.

I normally start on my back but end up on my side. When I was heavier, it got to be very uncomfortable to sleep on my side. It is better now, but eventually puts some strain on my knees and makes it uncomfortable.
