Damned right Bud...I can't wait until tomorrow 'cause I get better looking every day!!!
Exactly. And for the record, if I count my additional 5 pounds, I am still down about 150 pounds from where I was February '16. I will be happy to get back into a regular shoe on the left foot so that I can start walking more.
I have been having some pain/tenderness in my right heal on the outside edge. I had my orthopedic look at it a few weeks back and he was able to pin point the pain to one specific spot. He thinks that I have a bone spur on that heel. The tentative game plan is to get the left one healed up, then at least take an x-ray of the right one and possibly a CT to see what is going on in there. I have already told him that if there is a spur in there, I would like it to be removed sooner than later. I do not want to risk having another ulceration to deal with healing. I also would rather be laid up a little longer to get the right one taken care of than being cleared and into a new routine just to have a set back. One good point. If there is a spur (he is about 85-90% sure by feeling) he believes that he will be able to go in from the side and not the bottom to remove it. That will heal up quicker which is a positive.

Thanks Ken. Fortunately for the most part I am not in too much pain. I do have a high tolerance that has been exhibited over the last year or so. What is helping me with the right one is the custom orthotic inserts that my orthopedic had me get last year when I got out of the nursing home. He had then designed to take the weight off of the heels and there is some super spongy material in the areas of my problems that makes it feel like I am walking on a cloud. Most of the time, I really do not have issues with the right foot, but if I am on my feet a lot, then I can tell.
Hmmm.....who's this BIGKEN guy wandering around in here........
Just another with little to say.

Yeah and he is in his mid 30's so he is a youngin. What is better, his twin brother is in the same practice and does the same discipline so if one of them is not there, I can see the other. BTW, I have had both when I was in the hospital and nursing home so they are both well versed in my issues.
I am working on my regular daily stuff that was filed in the clerk's office Thursday and Friday last week. It should take an hour or two then back to doing some map adjustment work. May start putting in some OT starting next week to get going on the other project that has been on the back burner.
