Offy 4 bbl intake question
Does anyone happen to know if the offy 4 bbl intake sold by J.C. Whitney has provisions for manifold heat? I definitely like the price esp. as compared to clifford, but where I live I would most definitely need to warm the manifold in the winter.

Sure does. It will mate to the stock 6 into 1 cast iron exhaust manifold, bolt right to it. That manifold is the C-Series (single plane). I just bought one from them, it came nicely sandblasted. Highly recommend clearcoating it the second you open the box. It also comes with 1/4" and 3/8" NPT vacuum ports below the carb mount.

BTW, I was also able to use the original throttle cable on my '84 F150 with a Holley 4160 carb, I really don't think you'll need the universal adapter kit recommmended with the intake in the JCWhitney catalog.
