95 4 X 4 LO problem
I own a 95 F 250 super Cab XLT with a manual shifting transfer-case. I can not get it to shift into 4 LO. Goes from 2 to 4 HI no problem. Even when I put my weight on it, it won't push down to engage 4 LO.

also, some of these transfer cases you had to pull to the driver side then back when in neutral to get it in 4 low.
if the shifter does not say push down, it is probably a pull left style

if it is in neutral when you are trying to go into 4 low, the issue is going to be corrosion between the shifter plates due to lack of use.
do not try to force it, you will only break the shifter. the fix is to remove the shifter, disassemble it, clean it, lube it good, and put it all back together.
