460 swap
What other vehichles in what years have the 460 V-8?
I got a 1988 ford f-250 (manual, EFI) with the 7.5 and it's burning HEAVY oil (random big clouds on take off and after downshifting) and it's lacking in power and I am half heartedly looking for a fix, but what i want is a replacement. All I know about are the big 70's lincoln mark III's have them.

460 swap
These can be found from1968 up in Lincolns and later in big Fords, mid 70's and up in pickups. 68-78 were internally balanced.
79 up were in trucks only and they were externally balanced motor's. This is what yours is also. From what I have gathered on here you can use your top end ( heads and EFI intake ) on the older motors.
