I've read the tech article regarding this subject and have picked up all the necessary parts to complete this project. I have a 74 donor front end and a 71 frame that I want the discs on. My question is: can the whole front end (I-beams, radius arms, rotors, etc) be swapped right over? Or will there be major differences, such as "axle" width?
Thanks, Steve
I put all '76 parts under my '68.
It all fit just like the parts I removed. The wheels fit in the same postion as before. Be sure to check the steering linkage, some models were different in length. That may only be with the older models though when I did the conversion I had to install '76 linkage.
