Trans cooler upgrade - 4R100....6.0L or TruCool Max?

That's what I was looking for, thanks Mark.
BTW....based on your description, it appears the rear-most trans line is where cooled fluid re-enters trans, correct?
NOTE: On my previous '92 with E40D, I used your method of testing trans fluid flow by removing the rear-most line and running engine for 15 secs....looking for at least 1qt of fluid. This is how I determined that my radiator was clogged.
Again, thanks!

Any info on the Dorman replacement for the 6.0L?
I saw a YouTube video where a guy cut one in half and also cut a OEM Ford 6.0L in half and compared the two......Ford was thicker where it needed to be and Dorman was very thin where it did NOT need to be thin.
Thoughts?

I saw the YouTube video of the cut open oil coolers being compared, have not seen one with the trans coolers compared. The factory and Dorman trans coolers look very similar to me, but I do have the Dorman unit sitting in the garage waiting to be installed.

The original cooler has holes in the lower brackets for mounting where the 6.0L cooler has slots (forked end on the bracket). I used fender washers to provide additional surface area when mounting to make sure the unit stayed secure.

The link is broken, but I was able to navigate thru and find the 6.0 upgrade you posted. AWESOME man! UPS just brought me the cooler. I'm still waiting on my flexplate to arrive so I'm gonna work on mounting the cooler now.
My truck is an E99 F350 DRW used for hot shot trucking. The idiots who had mine bypassed the radiator connections which didn't do me any good in stop and go Atlanta traffic hauling 13,000 lbs. Found the flexplate was cracked due to the engine adapter. Also waiting on the adapter, crankshaft spacer and the reinforcing plate so I can get back to work. I bought the 31 row version... holy cow!
Thanks again!

I've read that the facory trans cooler on the 2003 F-350 6.8L/4R100 may not be adequate in hotter climates such as the SoCal desert area especially when towing heavier loads....7K-10K. Ambient temps in my area are typically 90-100F from May-Sept.
I installed a TruCool Max 4739 on my E40D and it worked great. Since my truck had no factory trans cooler, it was installed after radiator. I also replaced radiator as trans cooler portion was partially clogged and restricting trans fluid flow back to trans.
What has proven to be a GREAT trans cooler for this year truck/trans?
Is it the 26 row 6.0L diesel truck cooler?
Is it the TruCool Max cooler by LONG?
I know a new 6.0L cooler is about $400, but it is what it is.
If I were to go 6.0L, what mods are needed to install?
1. Is it installed after the current OEM cooler?
2. Is installed in place of current OEM cooler?
If TruMax 4739 cooler, same two questions
Thanks!

I picked up a aftermarket 6.0 cooler off amazon for $150. Pressure tested it an it was fine. The install was a breeze as everything basucally was a unbolt and bolt back up. The reducer barb fittings were a easy abd I used 3/8 compression barbed fittings on the cooler lines.
