Do Duramaxes Cheat Emissions?
Class action suit alleges they do:

It always puzzled me why the GM twins were so fast despite being even or at a slight disadvantage on paper (hp, torque, gearing, weight, etc.).
This one will be interesting to follow.
Of course, this could also just be another frivolous complaint to help line attorney pockets . . .

The EPA needs to be torn down, with everyone in it fired (and a bar on re-hire) and a new Environmental department created to replace it.
Everyone in it is a cult leftist with a communist agenda.
Diesels are SUPER popular in Europe.

This suit was brought by a law firm that is targeting any manufacturer that sold diesels and made claims in their advertising that they were clean. The suit against Mercedes was dismissed. I expect they'll go after Ford before long too.
All they need is a statement in a brochure or advertising touting the cleanliness of the emissions system and data that shows emission controls vary with conditions (which EVERY vehicle control system does) and then they allege that the consumer was misled by false advertising (which is the basis of the suit)

i like seeing the hard numbers in thesse cases as of late with VW, GM etc. They are "polluting" like .1% over the limits, which the limits are basically nothing.
