Is yours a 350? I have heard a lot of people say that for some reasons 350's don't normally show up in COTUS but will in ETIS. The frustrating part is that there is no rhyme or reason as to how long a truck will sit in "In Processing" before going to "In Production". The wait continues.
I'll just echo this post. When I was stuck in order processing for what seemed like an eternity, I started pulling up all of the Vin numbers of in stock 350's at my dealership, since they are all available on their website. None of them were in Cotus, all of them were in ETIS.
I didn't get a 350 so I don't have that particular issue tracking my order, but I know a LOT of people with 350's that do.
The problem with ETIS is it's always a day behind and it won't show *anything* of value until your truck is actually done with assembly. i.e. after my Vin was issued, nothing changed in ETIS for 5 weeks, and even then, the only thing that changed was my built date, which I already knew.
Well, I'm one step closer. I checked COTUS this morning and I now theres an ETA loaded. Hopefully it will come in a couple of days. I am supposed to head out on 7-1 to go to Colorado with the family for a week so it will definitely suck for my truck to get to the dealer a day after we leave and sit there for a week. But I got an ETA so I'm happy about that.
I put a deposit on a truck that showed up being allocated for a particular dealer before it showed up to dealer. Build date of 5/8/17.
I have the Vin. How can I find status of truck? Apparently it's still in Kentucky.
