Yes, our 2012 F-550's have zerk fittings on the ball joints. I guess Ford only uses the junk ball joints on the 250's and 350's. There is your proof the ball joints with zerk fittings are stronger.

It's interesting how the only two greaseable joints are the axle joints which frequently don't move for months on end, sometimes longer.

Or, (typically) commercial (more apt to get routine maintenance) vs. consumer applications.

No, why?

I just replaced all those "maintenance free" ball joints and u-joints when they wore out with greaseable joints. An aftermarket steering brace added an extra zirk too.
