Bed crossmember/ mount size

Got a new bed and wanted to put it on, crossmembers are rotted to hell, its an 8ft bed on an 02 f250. Anybody know the size of the cross members so I can cut out new ones? Thanks in advance

If it is any thing like my 81 F100 depending where the CM sits they will be different height as the frame is not flat from cab on back to the end.

I have a 2008 F350...I'll safely assume slight difference

I know you have a newer truck but look at the frame.
From back of cab to end of frame at the rear is you frame flat front to rear?
Bet not but the floor of the bed is flat & level.
How do you think they over come that?
Your best bet is to measure what you have now to make new ones.

No disrespect but I need the measurements because mine are rotted. Also very big difference between 2008 F350 Superduty and a 1981 F100. Thanks for trying though.

No disrespect just trying to help..
I had none at all on my flare side and was able to come up with something that works. Should not make any difference if it is a 1930 or 2018 truck.

If you have the floor to measure off from to the top of the frame that is all you should need. Measure at each spot the cross members should be.
Note before you measure make sure the bed body lines line up with the cab body lines.

Well, I wouldnt order something like this again unless I had to, this being said hope to save someone from dropping $300. Friend replaced his bed in his chevy and said its a bitch to get the body lines to match up so exact measurement could be pretty usefull. From left to right, 60 7/16 long, 3 1/8 tall, 4 1/2 wide. 52 1/16 long, 1\" tall, 3 3/4 wide. 46 1/4 long, 2 1/4 tall, 4 1/2 wide, and finally 46 1/4 long, 2 1/2 tall, 4 1/2 wide.

Thanks for sharing that. I'm guessing that the front "sill" of your bed is good? It doesn't come with the kit which sucks for me cause it's an additional cost. Ford did not have to cheap out with the cross members like they did but hey thats the new way...ECONOMY...just keep shopping. Cheers for your post!

Is this on a long bed or short bed or is there a difference? Thanks.

sweet so you’d recommend buying metal to meet those dimensions rather than buying the crossmember kit ?

Depends on how much time you wanna spend on it, if I remember correctly the bed bolts went through the crossmembers so you’d have to drill into The ones you cut out. I don’t have measurements for that.
