Fan speed missing on Edge CTS2
Sorry, trick title. There is none. I sure miss knowing what the fan is up to since I switched to the Edge Insight CTS2 from my Scangauge. I like the new display and being able to monitor EGT. But still...
I emailed Edge this morning and got a very prompt and helpful reply.
"We unfortunately do not offer a sensor that will read fan speed. If you were able to find a sensor with a 5 volt reference that can read that, you would be able to map it through our mystyle software and use it in your truck".
Anybody got any brilliant ideas related to the Edge response? For the time being I will just have to swap cables when I really want to see the fan speed. I do want to keep the CTS2 and not really interested in the other monitor systems yet.
