Fast fill mod issues
Last year I replaced my leaky rear tank with a Spectra tank, and did the fast fill mod with the 5/8s hose and nylon hose elbows. Never did vent correctly and the elbow on top of the tank hits the bottom of the bed, added a tee to the 5/8s line for the factory vent hose and cap to remedy vacuum issues in the tank. Now the tank is leaking when full around the vent valve grommet, which was new. Any suggestions on how I can fix either issue, I was thinking of spacing the tank down or using a different fitting. I do have the cab and chassis vapor valves and grommets, but they need breather caps and I don't believe they are shorter than the modified regular valve.

If everything is NPT threads, then go to McMaster Carr's website. They pretty much have everything, and drawings so you can make sure it is exactly the same size. If you need an alternative for a check valve, then have those as well.

The area is tight, I don't think a smaller valve would help, just wondering if anyone had a similar issue and what did they do to fix it.
