battery isolator question
Does anybody know how to test a battery isolator (to see if it is operational?) Also to test what the max amperage it can handle??
I found one at the junkyard today. TEN BUCKS!
Looks to be almost brand new, but I'm not sure if it's gonna work for my application. Thanks!!

Check continuity >
1) One test lead to center post >the other to first One end terminal then the
2) center post to the other end terminal
*Should show continuity*
Now check for one end terminal to the other end terminal
(This test should not show any continuity)

Should be stamped on it somewhere. If you can' tell don't use it. No need for a fire. Test light works good to to see if it works right.
