CT Restorers - Body Work
CT Restorers - Body Work
I have a ’38 tonner that I’ve been restoring to stock(pictures are on the forum) and I’ve run into a very prolonged delay on gettingthe body work on my fenders and running boards completed. Without going into agreat deal of detail, I’m considering moving my fenders and running boards toanother shop. The work that I has been done on the cab, the doors, the hood, the side skirts and other parts is great, but I want to get this projectcompleted and get the truck out to shows. Everything has been rebuilt andreassembled, and I ran the truck around the block as far back as May of lastyear to test it, but now all I can do is wait on more body parts.
So, I’m looking for another restorer to pick up on myfenders and running boards. The front fenders are just about ready to spray, and the rears and running boards are in reasonable condition. Are there shopsin CT you have worked with and might recommend for myconsideration. I know of 3 or 4, but would really like an opinion I could trustfrom a satisfied customer who is a vintage truck owner.
I would appreciate any suggestions. By the way, I happen tobe in Canton, but my current shop is a distance now, and I don’t mindtraveling.
Thank you,
Bob

Bob, you might want to also post your request in the Regional chapters forums on here, check it the New England group, that way you can reach out to those specifically in your area. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure we have anybody here from CT. I'm sure somebody might be, though.
