Friction modifier for Electronic Locking Diff?
Good morning,
I have read my owner's manual for a 2016 F-250 Lariat and it doesn't identify a LS friction modifier for the electronic locking rear diff in list of fluids needed. I am planning to replace diff cover and need to order oil.
Do I need to add 8 oz of the Ford XL-3 friction modifier to the 75W-140 syn gear oil?

I have used Amsoil Severe Gear Diff fluids for years. Can't say enough about the product.
