From what I understand it is normal to have oil on a glowplug when you remove it correct?
What would a clean glowplug indicate?
I had a code for #7 a few weeks ago. I replaced it with a new OEM. (All this while troubleshooting my miss) now I have removed all of them and #7 is clean, no soot, no oil, nothing. Just a little color from where it's been heated. I'm about to try compression testing and that's why I removed them. #7 is the only clean one. All others have soot and oil on them.
Compression test done and looks ok I think. I still have plugs out and testing each one again while watching upper fuel bowl watching for bubbles. I will post my test results shortly.
