i have heard good things about them, wouldnt be a major change. What other mods are on this motor. if you have headers and a good exhaust i would say you would see a good increase in power. You might have this topic moved to the bronco or truck forum you will get more feedback there.
I've heard a BBK Throttle Body for a 5.0 can bolt up about 12-15 hp's alone. Add a spacer and an intake, and I'll bet money you'll be pushing around 30 extra hp's. I've actually seen dyno tested and proven results with this mod on the V6. The V6 alone gained 28 hp. Gains for a 5.0 would be even greater.
the mustang and truck throttle bodys are different . so a 75mm wont work. The throttle body spacers are a joke, they hardly show any gains. unless your throttle body is messed up I would just clean it up good and run it till you get some other mods on your rig otherwise you wont notice a whole lot of grunt.
What are you driving panteramatt. i would not suggest spending money on the pullies if you drive a 4x4. because the underdrive will cause the alt to not spin fast enough to produce the right amount of charge for you battery if you have a lot of accessories like off road lights, stereo and so on. plus it really doesn add that much power.
I drive a 93 ext cab 4x4, and yes it will have a new stereo system.Im going to get an overdrive pulley for the alternator when I get my pulleys and I already have a optima battery.
Originally posted by panteramatt Yea, Im getting a FULL exhaust put on, filter, and pullys.I think Ill wait on th ethrottle body until I get better heads and cam.
Good idea there, the BBK Twin 56mm is just over $300. Unless you have good heads (nothing factory or factory ported) and a nice cam you may gain 2-4rwhp top. The motor simply can not pull that much air into it.
The stock 302/351W TB is just over 49mm. It flows enough for easily 275rwhp.
No single part (well other than heads) will add more than 8-15rwhp at a time. These are all slight power gains. Unless you do one huge step at a time (like Matt's going to full exhuast) you will not notice much gains of small things. The overall is where it helps. I have every bolt on except electric fans (waiting to upgrade alt to a 200A unit) and my truck will run circles around all stock F-150's of the same vintage.
Ad claims are TOTALLY different than real world power levels. I have been there and done that.

I remember posting up that your van's 351W also has red top injectors that are 30lbs/hr...I don't think that it is stock with that large of a TB but may be.
