Internal vs External Balanced 460
I am dropping an internally balanced 460 into my 90 F350. I am thinking of sticking with the fuel injection heads and intake and upgrading to Mass Air. My 460 is a rebuilt 1970 and I have read that my 90 has an externally balanced 460. I am unfamiliar with internal/external balancing. What problems will need to be addressed with the difference in the balancing of the engines? Thanks for your help.

Its my understanding you just need to keep the same year crank with the same year flexplate or flywheel. So keep all your 70 parts together.
The 79 and up 460's were externally balanced.
