Anyone have major issues with their ecoboost leaking coolant internally? I bought mine at the end if December 2016 with about 32000 on it. It's been in the shop for about 9 weeks now, 5 of those on a row. The engine has been rebuilt by ford two times since October with no resolution. Should I try another one if they but it back or move to another engine or brand?

 

Has anyone else had issues with their Ecoboost? Just found out today that my transmission needs to be repaired or replaced, depending on Ford's decision. I believe I got a lemon.

 

I've been trying to get an Oasis report but I've had no luck from the dealer. Can anyone point me to where I can get one?

 

It should still be under warranty. 5 years 60,000 miles. Maybe they should drop in a new engine or start a Ford buy back. I think there is info in the back of the owners manual on unresolved problems. The first owner may have unloaded it because of the problems you are still dealing with. My 2013 has had no real issues other than brake booster recall. In the past I have bought 20 or so 6.0 diesel engines, most had the normal problems but one was always in the shop. The first day it blew an engine and sat for weeks while hey waited on warranty. after that, it just never was right. There is a Ford rep on this site. Reach out to her/him.
