Installed cab lights today...

Currently I have them wired into an accessory slot in my fuse panel under the dash. They come on whenever I have the key turned on. Where would I wire them into to only come on when I turn my marker and/or headlights? Thanks guys.

If you pull the light switch out, you can splice in directly to the wire going into the switch. They will then turn on when ever you turn the parking lights/headlights on.

When I did my 'dually' tailgate bar I tied into a brown wire which was running lights. Mine is an 07, probably be the same color on yours, just a matter of finding it. Light switch may be best bet as mentioned above.

Im curious about the accessory slot, it this something that is just a blank fuse spot that you can tie into or? I need something like that for a dash cam.

Brown wire in the harness in the passenger kick panel. It is in one end of the harness, but not the other since you didn't have those lights stock.

Don't know what year you have, but in 2008 the connector for the cab light harness is on the driver side nestled within the body just under the A-Pillar. Present on all pickups. No reason to splice.
