Hello Y'all
I've got a 1977 f150 4x4. I'm looking for a cheap way to lift the front end. The back is easy because its leafs but the front is coils. I'm wondering if their is a coil spring that would give me 2-4 inches of lift. Maybe something I could pull from a scrap yard that would fit?
Thanks
4" of lift without steering upgrades and changing the C bushings is not going to handle worth a darn. You really need to throw more parts at it to include 78-79 steering to replace the wonky setup the '77 has. An adjustable track bar is a good idea too, as are caster correcting bushings. If you stay closer to the 2" you'll be a little better off.
No suggestions on specific springs, but new lift springs aren't terribly expensive.
