I checked my galelry today, and my "mods" section for all my additions to my truck was labeled "hiden my admin"... why would yall do this? it was hidden.. i was sad..
If you use the pic in your sig on another site every time someone views a post you made it counts as a hit to this site. I am guessing they are wanting to stop that? My gallery does not even show up??
When my modifications album only contained my gauges the administration would make it hidden all the time. So, I added pics of my hood and I think it had a different name before.
I think what thier going for is just pics of the full truck and less pics of parts.
The guys in charge are hashing it out in the Moderator forum as we speak.
thier hashing it out? that doen't sound good... lol. Well, all i know is that if they are trying to get rid of pics of modifications, they have awhole lot to get rid of.. but whats the point? just to save space? I think those pictures are very useful to people wanting to modify their trucks the same way. But what do i know?
I guess the gallery rules state that the following should be in hidden albums. The following is not written by me and is just an explanation that I cut and pasted below. As Yeti pointed out I think they may make some compromises here.
An Album containing:
1) Illustrations
2) Diagrams
3) Tech photos
4) Avatars
5) Magazine photos
6) Model cars
7) Artist renderings
8) Project Photos
Now ,this doesn't mean they can't still be seen by people,it just means they won't show up as albums in the main user gallery pages.
For people to view/access your album they must click the link below your user name on your message board replies.
Please note that FTE administration will be constantly on the lookout for un-hidden albums & violations of the guideline's.
