1994 Ford Bronco power window circuit

Hey guys. I just picked up a 1994 Bronco Eddie Bauer. The power windows will stop working and the 20 amp buse fuse in the dash is hot. Once it cools down all the windows work like they should. Anyone experience this or have any ideas? I did replace the fuse with negative results. Thanks!

I've been looking at schematics online and tend to think there is an intermittent short somewhere after the fuse but before the dash or door switches.

Still, if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

I found it. Took the driver side door panel off and inspected the wiring. Spotted a rubbed through place against the door skin. Now repaired and working properly. 😁

Nick , glad you repaired your problem and I will give you some advice on the ford circuits. Example I have a 92 that I have repaired /replaced/rewired the rear window motor . My system worked fine and my rear key switch rarely worked . For years thinking it was a faulty switch and there is no replacements (unless u hit the graveyards etc etc). Fast forwarding to last year and finding more specific info on FSB(FULL SIZE BRONCO) I chose to rewire my system using relays . Advice - the factory wiring is very resistive ,as our trucks get older, its a hit and miss and since this window is the longest point, it is highly resistive (window works slow ,lights dim when operating window .My rewire yielded a faster up-down and now I don't have to use the acc key to let it down and my rear window key switch works every time Good luck TR

Where in the circuit did you put the relay?
